Throughout the second quarter of 2024, the top five social apps on the Android platform in Tunisia demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. These insights, provided by Sensor Tower, offer a snapshot of the app market in the region.

TikTok saw a consistent performance in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads oscillated between 16.7K and 34K, peaking at 34K in the week of June 10. Revenue remained relatively stable, with a high of approximately $1.8K in the week of April 22. Active users showed a steady increase, rising from 1.46M at the beginning of April to around 1.6M by the end of June.

Facebook also maintained a steady user base with weekly active users fluctuating slightly around the 4M mark. Downloads reached their peak at 24.6K in the last week of April. Revenue, while modest, showed minor fluctuations, concluding the quarter at approximately $152.

Facebook Lite experienced similar stability in active users, starting at 1.59M and ending at around 1.61M. Weekly downloads were fairly consistent, ranging from 16.6K to 21.7K, with a peak in early May. However, there was no reported revenue for this app during the quarter.

Instagram displayed stable active user numbers, beginning the quarter at 1.89M and reaching approximately 1.93M by the end of June. Weekly downloads varied between 15.5K and 18.3K, peaking at 18.3K in early April. Revenue remained relatively low, with a slight peak at $163 in late April.

TikTok Lite - Save Data showed a varied trend in downloads, peaking at around 25.7K in mid-April. Active users decreased slightly over the quarter, from 383K to approximately 341K. No revenue data was reported for this app during Q2 2024.
